could your LUTs be corrupt ? Do they work with other satellite images ?
Are you trying them in MsgDataManager or GeoSatSignal or ??

Yep, tried them all, from top to bottom of the supplied list but all I get is varying shades of greyscale from the vis through all the IR's, but thanks for the response

Was there any problem with RSS yesterday, I had no images but files were
coming into the received folder for RSS when I pressed the start button it
just deleted them then more came in which

I tried and -time does not let me give a range. But it takes a * as a wildcard.
- time *0:00 should produce all hourly images found
-time together with parameter -movie did not

Have you tried Thermal LUT LUTLandSea-red on IR1 (10.4um) channel of Himawari ?
Or is this not what you are looking for?

enc-speed and I took it over into my .ini.

Rob can probably not pack everything on the command line. So for some user preferencies like image size, frame rate, area definition by name etc., you still need the xrit2pic.ini. Look

Nice to see the effect of rectifying MSG1 to 0 degrees, with RSS. The bottom boundary changes and bends during the day; normally it's a straight horizontal line.

no success: memtest86: no errors, DIMMs reseated, switched to a new root
disk too. First time it looks good, but stalled again.
But the new machine is arriving soon...!
