I had Es/No=11.4dB yesterday and I got almost all HVS files except for sun colinearity.
All my experiments say: The power of the processor is not so important, it's the HD !

Re: Old and new Tellicast Client
Ernst,
So I was right-your Ramdisk is a faked HD for the client and you solved the file moving to the HD and the tmp fragment problem with your script!
Great-this i/o waits we see will be no problem

Christian (and others interested GNU/Linux users)
Look at the data flow like this (using ini parameters <memory> and control):
The client prepares your files in a tmp directory of your file

Your Web site.
Ernst,
What was the URL of your old Web site? It's worth checking one of the Internet history engines....
Cheers,

Re: Old and new Tellicast Client
Ernst,
I read your Mail-maybe I don't understand at all how the data flow is at the client. So I think you set up a ramdisk for the temp files and your bash script looks for completed files to copy

Read my posts: I use a 5GB RAM-Disk. Io takes now full HVS no problem. The sun outage just hit my antenna:
Now look at Io's RAM-Disk that takes the tmp files and the renamed tmp files

Ernst,
good to know the information was interesting for you. Yes, already some
undocumented parameters so I wonder that there is no README file
available with the 'new' tc-software which do clarify
