Difficult to make a judgement - if that was a receive-only system running XP then I would expect zero missing packets, but my dual-core Vista system with the DVB World box gets about 10

Actually, with recent versions of the MSG Data Manager there is an option to automatically remove unprocessed files from your \received\ tree. On the Setup tab, Options, File controls, RX
