More information:

For a better usage and share of the EUMETCast bandwidth between all Copernicus missions, Sentinel-3 data and future Copernicus data will be gathered on one same transponder, Transponder 2.

In order to achieve this, a re-organisation of the data flows on EUMETCast-Satellite is necessary. In particular, Sentinel-3A data which are currently disseminated on Transponder 1 (TP1) will be transferred to Transponder 2 (TP2).

For full details on what needs to be changed on the user side to receive the Sentinel-3A data stream on TP2, please see:
https://www.eumetsat.int/website/home/News/DAT_3942692.html

To support users in their preparation for this change, Sentinel-3A data will be available on both TP1 and TP2 during the period from 18/06/2018 to 21/08/2018. From 22/08/2018, they will only be available on TP2.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

With best regards,
EUMETSAT User Service

Note that the channel names WILL be changing. The PID is 610, the same as the GOES-16 & NOAA-20 data already on the second transponder.

Cheers,
David
