Good news is that Tellicast is running again, data channels streaming in and MSG DM displaying images. Quite a relief. Took David Taylors sound advice and revisited the PC's Device Mgr for a second/third look. This time asked it to show Hidden Network devices and came up with some DVB Net adaptors and TechniSat DVB-PC TV adaptors which must have been left over from my pre SR-1 use of a SkyStar USB receiver. Set all these to disable and the blocked port opened and data flowed. Pure luck and not knowledge on my part but thanks for all suggestions received.


Final offering - running David's Ver 3.0.10.1191 of MSG Data Manager (like the bigger hi-res window) but can't find a LUT which will render Himawari images. Any clues please.
