sometimes using a ROUTE PRINT command from DOS will help, as there is
a list of interfaces at the start of its output.

for this machine here (not the receiver) the interface list looks like this:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>route print

Schnittstellenliste
0x1 ........................... MS TCP Loopback interface
0x2 ...00 11 2f db ff c7 ...... Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethe

So, I guess, the number right of the 0x ist the interface number, right?
