THE 220 Band Net is on Wednesday Nights after the 2m and 10m nets, approximately 9 PM on 223.415 mhz. - Even if you have an HT with 220 mhz, get an adaptor and connect it to your new 220 mhz antenna. - At worst, be prepared to get on the air with your 220 mhz HT; Net Control or others nearby should be able to hear you. See/Hear Wednesday & Saturday night's 851st & 852nd Simplexton Nets here and here. Click the "LIKE" button after every net: It's always your decision to avoid promoting the net by not clicking. Saturday, November 12, 2022 (We also had a great breakfast Saturday morning where 13 Simplextons decided they liked a buffet) 6 check-ins on DMR (K4PEW net control) 5 check-ins on D-Star (KE4SYV net control) 7 check-ins on Yaesu Fusion C4FM (K4PEW net control) 30 check-ins on 146.415 FM 11 check-ins on 144.240 USB under good conditions 5 check-ins on 50.135 USB (pretty awful conditions) 5 check-ins on 223.415 FM NOTE: EVEN IF YOU HAVE ONLY A LOW WATTAGE DIGITAL HT, CONNECT IT TO YOUR PRIMARY ANTENNA AND FIND OUT IF YOU CAN GET ON ONE OF THE DIGITAL NETS: DMR 7:00 PM, D-STAR 7:15 PM, C4FM 7:30 PM, EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT on 146.460 Simplex Quote of the days (two, as there were two nights of nets): You'll be amazed at how capable people think you are if they don't know you well.
