K4PEW Off the air for a day or two

Paul E Wieloszynski K4PEW

I will NOT be available to be on the air Tuesday or Wednesday, as am having a surgical procedure at the VA Med Ctr Tuesday morning. If there is to be a net, somebody will have to grab their mic and jump in there. Mike KM4YRF "may" be able to do it from Ashland City, but conditions on 2m have been pretty rough from that area. Michael CAN do the 10 m net, however, so keep your radios on.

There can always be a free-for-all round-table on 146.415 FM, or you can always spend that time Wednesday night with your loved ones. I should be back on the air after Wednesday.

Hope to hear you on the air!!

Paul,
I hope everything went well today. Let some of us know how you are doing and we can share it on the rag chew tomorrow.

Had surgery to remove my prostate, which we had been monitoring the PSA slowly rising for three years. Also had three biopsies in the process.
Came home Wednesday afternoon, but have enough discomfort/pain, even talking hurts. Plus, am only somewhat comfortable lying down. Plus, pain killers make me dumber than usual. Not sure about doing net on Saturday, but we shall see. Have Foley catheter and bag for three weeks. None of this is fun,
Otherwise, all is well.
It is highly recommended that all the men on this list routinely get their PSA levels checked; am told that 17.6% of men get prostate cancer and a good idea to catch it early,

My thanks to all who expressed concern and are praying for me.
