Re: hello?

Mike Keyes

Brothers,
The Roman army spent less than 5% of their time in combat.
The rest of their time was engaged in constructing western
civilization as we know it. Building roads where there were
none ,including aqueducts and bridges , many of witch remain in
                   use to this day.
With a 2200 year history of overcoming engineering
problems great and small filling our sails, I know that
                          we can figure out how to get 4 ) 32’ , 8)18’ , and 16) 12’
                         phone poles, 80’ of 3/4” galvanized all thread , 80) 34”
galvanized nuts, and 80) 3/4” galvanized flat washers to
the farm. This material will be enough to construct a tower
that is 12’x 12’ with a decks at 12’ and 20’ above grade.
The railing material can be windfall combined with woven
wicker or wattle. The same can be said of the roof framing.
I will provide the metal roofing. We can camouflage the very
modern looking steel with thatching, in and out.
I know we can do this and I’m rarin’ to go.
                               Thoughts and opinions?
                                      Mike

You will need full body armor and Helmet to the event. Shields and javelins are not required. However crests and capes are recommended.

Note: It will be cold, so dress warm.

I am always willing to help the Legion,  yet I just joined and I'm not sure if my equipment is up to standard and what else I would be required to get to take part.

They don't let you ship stuff for personal use and... I don't have a trailer to haul the long poles.

Not much use getting folks until we have that.
