The Launch Umbilical Tower Group LUTGroup@groups.io

The purpose of this group is to discuss the Launch Umbilical Towers used for American manned space flight.  It is primarily targeted at the Apollo LUT, but includes discussion of the Space Shuttle Tower, the SLS, as well as other launch structures. It also serves as a repository for historical documents pertaining to hardware used on the American manned space program.

The enormous amount of documentation contained on the LUT Group is available to all members for free, to help others in their search for more information for their modeling projects or to just learn more about the complex hardware that was used.

We encourage members to engage in discussions and be part of this community. Feel free to showcase your work here and engage with the community as a member of it, by helping others and discussing in other member’s posts.

To keep our members engaged on the LUT Group we respectfully ask that you refrain from self promotion or redirecting members away from the LUT Group.  Thank you!
