Maybe I should look at using up some of those FF points.

Will Walhalla stoke up the Henschel in our honour (fire bans permitting?)

No steam I'm afraid. At the moment I'm trying to get a special rain earlier in the morning with the most "agricultural" rolling stock available ..

Cheers,
PeterE.

I would have thought special rain was the last thing you wanted.

Rains of any type would be very useful here in drought stricken Victoria.

How come no steam!

Why do they bother having a steam loco if they don't use it?

The WGR stop running steam with the onset of the warmer weather.

Bill.

MusT geT  that faulTy lower-case "T" on my Typerwriter fixed ...

Apparently the non-availability of steam has something to do with fire precautions. Any fire getting away in that rugged terrain would be horribly difficult to stop.

Cheers,
PeterE.
