Phil, I went there in 1975. The location is the French Antarctic Base. We only had a few hours. My interest was in Mereorology so my time was spent looking at the MET equipment and collecting postage stamps. 🤣🤣🤣 As for rail, don't remember it. Regards Rod Hutchinson Mooroolbark, Australia
