Howdy,
I posted 24 photos to this site yesterday - hope they are of interest, given the enormous loss due to the recent bushfire.
I have a number more from the pattern shop, and of saw milling equipment.
Regards,
Bill

Someone on the UK NGRM online website posted a very interesting link which contains some 1960s and 70s WA and South Australian Narrow Gauge. There is also some nice British and overseas NG as well

Enjoy

My copy arrived in Broken Hill this AM (Friday).

Which really is amazing as we get mail posted a week ago in Sydney, today.

My copy arrived in metropolitan Sydney today.

I guess Australia Post is not that much slower than a migratory whale swimming the journey?

Yes, apologies. I don’t know how that happened.

Richard is quite correct. It should be 2724 and 2725 for Central Norsseman.

I copied down those details incorrectly, confusing myself and others.

Light Railways arrived (with wet edges) Wednesday pm. We seem to be still on a 5 day
delivery schedule.

Light Railways was posted at Emerald, Victoria this morning. With the new Australia Post delivery schedule it could apparently take until 17 February to reach you if you live in a remote location, but most members may have it by next Monday - I expect.

Access into Yarloop is still very restricted. There was one photo published in The West Australian and Countryman newspapers showing the Y steam loco under collapsed roofing but that’s all I’ve seen in the press.

Dear all,

In the UK there is a magazine called Narrow Gauge World.

The editor has asked if anyone has a photograph of the destroyed workshops following the tragic fire in Yarloop.

Can anyone assist?
