Re: Advert of the week 19

NSWGT steam tram motors 107A and 131A (taken over from Waddingtons 1946) and 103A given to Comeng by CSR Caneite Works (for spare parts) in 1950.  Ironically it was 103A that came to be preserved, as we all know.

STEAM LOCOMOTIVES, three for disposal. One in perfect working order, one partly dismantled for repairs, one incomplete, suitable for spare parts, boiler, cylinders, and undercarriage attached. These engines were converted to Industrial locos from steam trams and are suitable for 4ft 8½ gauge operation. Very handy units for constructional work, log hauling in timber milling industry, sugar cane industry, etc. No reasonable offer refused. Apply to Manager, Commonwealth Engineering Co., 11 Berry Street, Granville. Ph. UU1211
