Hi Steve,

The Richmond Vale from Hexham to Stockrington is is the only one retaining rail. I am not sure if this is a heritage ruling or not. A trike would likely be possible for most of the run from Hexham to Doghole, excepting the section under the extended Pacific Highway which has a gate or fence across the line. I am not even sure if the rail is intact under this, but IIRC only enough room was left for just a single track. The track beyond Doghole into the Stockrington loaders has gone sadly.I havea photo of this that is yet to go on the site. All branches from the South Maitland have been removed. It would be nice to see bike tracks made of them to preserve the ROW. You would have to give way to roads etc. Be very wary of crook bridges as well. Would be fun thing to do.
