And a quantity ended up on tramways at the Coopers Creek copper mine
(Victoria) as second-hand rail purchased from the Victorian Railways.
There are still odd fragments to be found in the bush.

This is very heavy rail not to be confused with the lighter and
similarly-sectioned "bridge rail" used in various mines and included
in BHP steel section catalogues in weights of 25 lb/yd and 18lb/yd as
late as 1925. I have seen some of this lighter rail in the bush in NSW.
