Re: Death of John Prideaux

Thank you Roderick for passing on that sad news.

John Prideaux was Hon. Treasurer of LRRSA for three years from July 1967 to June 1970.

He was also a member of the Constitution Committee which wrote a new constitution for the Society in April - May 1969.

John was a member of the committee at a very difficult time when there were strong differences of opinion and a constitution which was not very helpful.

He was a rock of stability, common sense and reliability. Without his presence on the Committee at that time the Society may not have survived. His contribution to the Society at that time cannot be underestimated.

Regards,
Frank

He had been a long-serving LRRSA treasurer.
