We have lists or tables where you can post requests for rides or tickets LISTS AVAILABLE to group members * RIDES WANTED * RIDES OFFERED * TICKETS TO BUY OR SELL These lists are in the "Databases" section. On a desktop or laptop computer, click "Databases in the left side menu then select the database (table) you wish. On smaller screen devices such as phones, look for a 2 dot or 3 bar icon representing to open a screen showing the menu and then select "databases". To add a record to the table, click the green "+Add Row" icon near the bottom left and fill in the form with your information and save. You may change your entry later but only the moderator (Califdan@...) can delete a row. You must be a member of the group to access this area.

Hi all, Here is some information from the festival organizer about buying/selling tickets. Here's what he says.... Yes, we can verify if anyone truly has any tickets that are legitimate to sell. One would need to send an inquiry email to ticketinfo@... and provide the name of the prospective seller and the type of ticket that they are looking to purchase and we can then verify if there truly is an available ticket. If someone is choosing to do this as a will call then it will need to be transferred into the buyer’s name. We can do that if need be though the seller should also be able to go into their Eventbrite account to edit the ticket information as well. A seller can also print out their tickets and hand them over physically to a buyer if they are in close proximity to each other. Also, we have met with an outfit called Lyte and we are in the process of clearing up a few small matters and then we plan to activate a relationship with them. They are an outfit that acts as a clearing house for ticket sellers and buyers and they have an active relationship with Eventbrite. They will step in and act as our go between for those that want to sell tickets and those that want to purchase tickets. Their pricing will not be face value but it will be far less than any type of scalping of a ticket price and they will be handle all of the necessary details to shift tickets from the buyers to the sellers thru the Eventbrite system. Buyers will be able to state what they are willing to spend for a particular ticket and they will be contacted and given the opportunity to say yes or no when the ticket they’ve been seeking becomes available. They are a reputable organization that works with a number of festivals, especially those that have sold out.

Hi all, Yesterday, the Festival Facebook page announced that they have engaged with Lyte for 3rd parties to buy/sell tickets. Here is their annoucement; " Good morning Folks. It has come to our attention that there are people out there who have been trying to scam folks into purchasing bogus tickets off of them through Facebook postings. We have just teamed up with a reputable outfit named Lyte that will be acting as the central clearing house for those who want to sell their tickets and those that want to purchase tickets post sell out. Lyte will handle everything through the Eventbrite system so it will all be legitimate. We strongly encourage folks that may want to purchase tickets directly through a private party to double check to make sure the person trying to sell legitimately has tickets. If you would like to double check the validity of the tickets being offered you can send an inquiry to ticketinfo@.... We have already uncovered a few bogus claims of phony tickets being offered. We hope to have the Lyte system and links up on our website and in our social media in the next week." As I understand, Lyte will charge a fee for this service but I don't know what that fee will be.
