Falcon Flight Formation Training Clinic KTPLClinic@groups.ioThis group is used for the signup and dissemination of information regarding a formation training clinic. 2024 dates, times and location to be determined. The clinic is run and hosted by the Falcon Flight Formation Team.
Participants should have excellent stick and rudder skills, have aircraft in excellent condition, have full dual controls, intercom, PTT in other cockpit, and have NO VERNIER THROTTLES. By signing up, you agree to HOLD HARMLESS the organizers, briefers, safety pilots, flight leads, airport authorities, and any other persons involved in this clinic. All participants will be required to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement prior to registering. Proof of liability insurance is required.
We cannot support RV10 or RV12 aircraft at this time.

After reading/studying this material, go to -> https://ffi.aero/cexam.html and complete that test. Clinic organizers will be notified when you have completed it. This MUST BE DONE PRIOR to showing up at the clinic. No test means NO clinic flying.
To sign up for this clinic, add a row entry into the Clinic Signup Table database in this group at https://groups.io/g/KTPLClinic/table?id=27292. The FILES section of this group will be updated as new information is generated. We are limiting this clinic to 50 (fifty). Once we hit that limit, the table will be locked. At this point, add your name to the WAIT LIST table https://groups.io/g/KTPLClinic/table?id=37965 and you will be notified via your groups.io email in entry order when a spot opens up. There are always cancellations as we get closer to the clinic date - plans change and weather always gets in the way. DO NOT MAKE HOTEL reservations if you are NOT in the main sign up table.

Complete the top portion with your personal information, and then have your RECOMMENDATION PILOT fill out the the middle block. Leave the rest of the form EMPTY. BRING THIS WITH YOU.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE THAT SHOW UP WITH A RECOMMENDATION. ANY OTHERS *MAY* OCCUR IF SPACE/TIME ALLOWS.
The HOTEL information will be directly emailed to you once you have added your information to the sign up table. Please DO NOT DISTRIBUTE this information. The block of rooms are intended for attendees ONLY once you are confirmed.
The cost is $150 (cash) for the clinic which includes snacks/beverages Fri/Sat/Sun, Breakfast Fri/Sat/Sun (@ hotel), Lunch Friday, Lunch/Dinner Saturday, and transportation to/from the hotel (see note below). You are responsible for your avgas, hotel payments and Thurs/Friday evening activities.
