ImagesPlus program window buttons

I added a new computer monitor and now ImagesPlus main window top row of buttons are larger the left side buttons are ok see attached
screens. This new monitor is 2560 x 1440 and the old one is 1280 x 1024. If I make the old one the "main display" in Windows the
buttons are normal but if I make the new display is the "main display" they are large. I can start IP on any screen the it does the same thing.
As long as the old display is the "main display" IP buttons are ok on both monitors, but when I switch the "main display" they are large on both monitors. I would like to just one large monitor and remove the old one. Has anyone else seen this problem?

There is no support or updates for ImagesPlus, so what you see is what you get with the UI.

Walter,

What happens when you uninstall and then reinstall with only the new larger monitor?   Perhaps IP is detecting the screen size and adjusting the button size.
Don't know if it will fix your problems, but it is easy to do and worth a try.

When you run a Windows program that looks differently based on the resolution of the display, you need to adjust the "Change high DPI settings" in the properties icon.

Go the "Compatibility" tab in the Images Plus properties. Then the "Change high DPI settings" button near the bottom.  Check "Override high DPI scaling behavior." and set "Scaling performed by" to "System".
Then click OK.  Then click OK once more to close the properties.  Now launch Images Plus and you should see the icons adjusted accordingly for the resolution of the display.

Hope that helps,

Lamar

Changing the Compatibility did not fix it. I found if I change the resolution to 1920 x 1440 (or anything else) it fixes the problem. With IP still open change the resolution back to 2560 x 1440 IP is ok. It would be interesting to know if the problem is specific to 2560 x 1440.

I suspect that the issue is tied to the fact that 2560 is exactly double 1280. I've no idea why but, as already said, the program is no longer being maintained/updated.

I'm glad you found a solution.
