If you don't mind, I'm going to just sit back and lurk, as I've not
yet gotten into ImagePlus (downloaded it and all, but have not gone
through the tutorials yet). Perhaps I can hit the ground running a
little faster by gleaning some info from the IP masters!
Hi too! Me too! BTW, I'll be the low power guinea-pig for now attoggle quoted message Show quoted text
least -- my personal PC is a 200Mhz Pentium running Win98, memory
just recently upgraded to 256MB. Go ahead and chortle, have your fun.
So far I've only played around with the demo version, but the full
program is next on my purchase list. The (relatively) low-speed
processor hasn't proven to be a major obstacle so far with Photoshop
etc., and once I added memory the demo IP seems to run ok -- though I
haven't gotten into opening multiple large images, nor have I done
much with the iterative processes that would tax the processor (and
patience) to the limit. I'll provide feedback as and when I have it.
If the thing crawls I may just start bringing home the work laptop, a
little P4 screamer with Win2K...
