Camera Control 6.5 with Nikon D600
-Ric in Homestead, Fl
I believe Mike stopped updating IPCC prior to newer cameras coming out.
When I try and connect my Nikon D600 to ImagesPlus Camera Control 6.5 it hangs with a spinning cursor.
The camera works fine with other software.
Anyone have this issue?

Ric, the Nikon D600 is and older camera (2012) and is in the list of supported cameras so it should work. http://www.mlunsold.com/ILCameraControl.html
William, I'm a Canon user and I've never used IPCC (only used ImagesPlus portion of the software) so I don't have any direct experience with either. When I was using my EOS 60D for imaging, I controlled it using BackyardEOS.
For troubleshooting purposes, are you able to connect/control your D600 with Nikon software? If you cannot connect with Nikon software then perhaps you are missing some drivers for the camera on your computer. Installing or reinstalling the Nikon software which might load any missing drivers.
Have you tried any other camera control software? BackyardNikon has a free trial version. Astrophotography Tool (APT) is also another one to try.
If the problem only exists with IPCC then you may want to reconsider your options. As Ric mentioned, ImagesPlus support has ended a few years ago. At that time the developer opened the program for free. The down side is that there is no support. The only support is thru user forums like this...and at some point even this will dry up and people update both astro and computer gear.

Hi Ric,
What operating system are you using? I ran into issues trying to use my even older Nikon D90 with IPCC a couple of years ago when Comet Neowise visited us. Here’s the thread….https://groups.io/g/ImagesPlus/message/53563
My D90 isn't even listed as an available camera in the newest (free download) IPCC6.5. I have the older IPCC 5.5, but that doesn't play well with Win10 (my old Win7 laptop died), so after much trial and error, I gave up trying to use the D90.
Hope you can find a solution, but I wouldn't hold my breath....
