The National Short Wave Listeners Club will start the next HAREC training course on Tuesday 5 April 2022. Class Echo will focus on the updated HAREC exam structure. The course will run for 16 sessions, every Tue and Thu evening in April, and every Thu in May and June, aiming to finish on 23 June 2022. As in the past, the course will be live on the Zoom platform. NSWLC have served over 200 individuals since forming in early 2021. The Club currently has 71 active members, of which 41 have registered to take class Echo. All the NSWLC members are encouraged to join a local radio club. Once licensed and fully comfortable on the air, members leave the NSWLC unless remaining in a supporting or a teaching position. Any clubs affiliated with the IRTS who are interested in promoting their membership are welcome to present at an NSWLC Sunday Social. Please contact info(at)swl.ie to discuss.
