He says, “Yellow-throated warbler at swan falls park today at around 12:30! It was roving through the locust trees and a big catalpa towards the back of the park near the rock wall.”

Found yellow-rumps and mountain chickadees but not the warbler.

Thank you Pat .. It was a lot of +EV, having the control ring on the lens to adjust the EV while looking through the viewfinder with a live histogram helps, center weighted metering and just had to let the bright spots through the leaves blow out. Still present in and near the catalpa tree when I was there from 10 AM to noon, with several other people also at the location.

Thank you Pat .. It was a lot of +EV, having the control ring on the lens to adjust the EV while looking through the viewfinder with a live histogram helps, center weighted metering and just had to let the bright spots through the leaves blow out.

Last photo at 1:01 PM 9-22-22 … with Yellow-rumped Warbler and Mountain Chickadees … moving around the Swan Falls park but kept returning to the trees around the small 4 vehicle parking area just past the rock wall on the left (the cliff side).

It was still there at 1PM
It is still present at 12:30PM today in the same area.

Just Seen by several birders in catalpa tree next to road.
Wow! I would see this when my wife is on her way to pick up dinner and she will have the vehicle again tomorrow she has clean up laser eye surgery tomorrow at 8:20 AM she drives herself
there and back and may get home in time for me to go look for it mid day.
Details on eBird and just posted to Facebook (Idaho Bird Sightings & Discussion) but JB Peck found this at Swan Falls dam!
He says, “Yellow-throated warbler at swan falls park today at around 12:30! It was roving through the locust trees and a big catalpa towards the back of the park near the rock wall.”
