Sorry about the typo.  Red-eyed indeed!

Red-eyes vireo Birding Island South

Elizabeth Medes

Seen early this afternoon, Birding Island South in Payette County, between noon and 2 p.m. north of the parking lot at the edge of the first pond to the west. Saw twice. Singing. Have video of poor quality, and good audio. eBird says this is unreported which is why I'm sharing it.

Pretty cool for Scott, who only recently has taken on bird recording with a passion! He's a frequent IBLE contributor but probably to modest to share this himself.

I am attaching a screenshot for those of you not able to see the version (for that, super-simple - just scroll down from the eBird home page, https://ebird.org/home )

love it Tom....  =)
altho I don't think of this as rain per se, it's just spitting over here on the west end...  many bird sp are discussing it this morning
i'm remembering a "loud hard tropical rain" while standing under a tin roof covered outbuilding watching hummers attempting to negotiate feeders   ;-)

What is this “umbrella” of which you speak, Bob? I thought I was supposed to get wet when birding in the rain. Plus, wet binoculars allow you to see birds that aren’t really there. ;-)
