As snow flakes fell this morning in Blackfoot, a white-winged dove stood under our bird feeder searching for seeds. It paraded around 10 feet in front of our picture window for about 15 minutes. We had previously seen a white-winged dove at our feeders in mid-June but had no further observations until today.
Perhaps it is not the same individual, but having two w-w doves visit the same location 5 months apart would really be unusual.
