Re: Cheap sweater blocking

It's Millers Cleaners in Mt. Kisco.  They block an item for $5 and they do a very good job. I've taken 11 shawls and a vest to be blocked and am very happy with the results.

Someone mentioned last week that there's a store that will block your sweater/shawl/whatever for a very low price.  I don't want to post any more details because I probably will remember them wrong.

Can you tell all of us about it?

Thanks,

Lucinda

Regarding Rhinebeck, we traditionally meet the 4th Saturday, rather than the 3rd.

I wrote Shanyn to ask her when the farm stand closes, and if there's any way we can meet after that.  We'll see what she says.

All of us have stashes. I am interested it buying two braids of green top to spin and then ply with some dark green single ply yarn I have. I don't want to buy it on the internet sight or feel unseen.

I will be at the meeting on the 21st.

Teresa, it was lots of fun.  We missed you!  There were six or seven of us all happily spinning, some with drop spindles, others with wheels and an espinner.  Knitting made an occasional appearance.  We were In an appetite stimulating position next to the baked goods competition display and just behind the fried dough booth with its tempting smells drifting in.  It was very nice to be indoors. Traffic was light but constant, and as usual little kids and grown men showed the most interest.  I for one hope they invite us back.
