Jane, everyday when I hike the trails with my dogs I thank you!  And it’s fun to see that many fellow Yorktowners seem to be discovering them too.  I’m grateful that we have so many beautiful places to get outdoors in our town.

If you don't want to get these, tell me.  if you do, tell me that, too - if anyone doesn't want to get them, I'll make up a separate list to send happy stuff to.

And everyone, please send around cheerful stuff - we need our happy time!

I'm going to be in PA until the end of the month, possibly longer. I'll be confined in my house there, in my fiber studio with LOTS of British DVDs to watch.

Stay safe & well everyone.

We'll all have LOTS of Show & Tell projects to share when we get together again!

We are sheltering in place and the only public place I’m going is the store, when necessary, armed with Clorox wipes. Since no symptom-free person is being tested, there is no way for people to know who is already unknowingly carrying the virus. If anyone plans on going to the farm Saturday, I advise them to follow the news. NYC looks about 48 hours away from a full lockdown, and Westchester County might just follow suit.

Interesting article about the Ravelry trump ban.
A dear friend from Maine is quoted! Medora Van Denburgh and I met at the summer CSA pickup in Maine and have met after CSA every week since. Such a small world.

Re: OT - Craig's List

I work on cross stitching. May I have a chance to look at them?

We have a LOT of unused cross-stitch leaflets that we'll never use.  I don't want to throw them in the recycling bin - someone had suggested Craig's List to me.

I don't like anything that involves public exposure, so I won't advertise them on Craig's List myself.  Can anyone help me find them a good home?

Thanks,

Finding a good home for everything as you down size is a trap one can easily fall into. But I understand that getting items to some one who can use them rather than a land fill is a good idea.

I have to weigh those choices too.

Sorry not sure what the leaflet are about can you maybe take a photo or scan a copy to share? I can email it around to a few places that might want something like that. There is also Freecyle that you can post on.  People leave things on their curb for others pick it up.  Teacher are always posting on that site for things for children.
