Hacker Radio Group Hackerradiogroup@groups.io

Group aims: To preserve, restore, examine and celebrate the radio and audio products made by Hacker Radio Ltd., Maidenhead. Attention will also be given to Dynatron receivers and to the brief twilight that was Hacker Sound.

Discussion and sharing of knowledge are encouraged, and we hope to continue assembling a useful archive of information and illustrations. The group now incorporates a database aiming to record serial numbers and other details of as many Hacker sets as possible. A variety of sales brochures and instruction leaflets are available in our Photos section, together with a selection of photographs: our files include a good selection of original Hacker service manuals.

For nearly twenty years the Hacker name was carried by successive generations of portable radios of a build quality unequalled in the British radio industry. Let us enjoy them together...
