Not narrow gauge, but an interesting story of steamers trapped in ice on the Great Lakes with a load of autos in 1926.  Found their way back to Detroit Via rails.

That’s quite a story.

Those Chryslers were well built cars.

I wonder how the Chryslers being built by FIAT would be able to survive a similar situation, today?
