Looking for Steve Hatch
David Hunt was having trouble getting in touch with Steve Hatch. I told him Steve's website might have been down for a day and to try again as I was able to access his site and send an email. Scott

I'm wondering if someone here could point me in the direction of where I could find a track map of Ouray. I've found maps of the branch but not a map of the trackage in Ouray. Thanks, Scott

What I did was file down a PCB tie very thin, then solder two code 70 rail joiner on top and then trim to the width of the tie. I used code 70 joiners on code 55 rail to ensure the bridles would slide

Any narrow gauge news/ coupler bounce is prototypical
Coupler "bounce" as you describe it only happens on cars with cushioned drawbars (auto racks, lumber racks and some box cars for example) narrow gauge cars of 50's and previous did not have cushioned
