Since I have several first run non-runners, I have thought about running a solvent through the motors, but I haven’t been brave enough to try. I have a can of electronics cleaner, but the fear of comp

Backdrop construction
So, if the issue is removing for access, it seems as though the access will be from the front. If so, why not put a conventional backdrop all the way to the back and put removable sections of mid grou

Yes, I was able to join with no trouble whatsoever. I was a member the same day. I don’t recall receiving any notification, but I am able to see the page and it shows up in my groups list. I have not

I not only saw the page, I joined the group. (No, I don’t have a Circuit yet.). I can’t imagine why you can’t get there. Is your operating system way out of date? Jim Marlett http://flatheaddrag.com/

Roller gauges
I should mention that the tightness of Steve Hatch’s rollers only effects pre-painted rail. Unpainted or chemically blackened is not damaged. While a looser fit would be my preference for pre-painted

Roller gauges
I just measured the rail head width of some Micro Engineering code 70 rail and got about 0.032” and some code 55 rail at about 0.029”. I thought the Code 55 would be less, but the old calipers said 0.

Wye Turnout
Again, I would suggest trying your hand at building one. I’m a ham-fisted idiot and I made three like this for a wye. One side is 26” radius and the other is 24” radius. Jim Marlett http://flatheaddra

Wye Turnout
If you’ve used Fast Tracks jigs for years, you should really have no trouble building your own wyes. The only slightly tricky part is the frog. I build mine on the work bench, then spike them down on

Staining ties
I stain mine in a plastic jar in which the stain lives its life. I dump in a bunch of ties, swish them around, let them soak until I think they are done, then I fish them out with forceps or if my nit

I think it would be quite easy to mix up black and brown shoe leather dyes in alcohol until the stained wood looked right to you. Jim Marlett http://flatheaddrag.com/ http://jimmarlett.zenfolio.com/

looking for BLACKSTONE B370 106 - HOn3 - 3'7" Arch Bar CABOOSE Trucks
I should correct that to say they were sold by the vendor as freight trucks and the vendor’s label says freight trucks, but Blackstone’s label says caboose trucks and they actually are caboose trucks.
