Thanks Brian,  I know you have a similar affliction!

Even have to go to the dark side every now again with a standard gauge plow or two.

If you want help backdating the OM or building any of the others, let me know. Not hard to make it pre 1962 with the aux water car.

The other rotaries are all doable.  the DP kit has the parts to make D&RGW OM, ON, C&S 99200, and a few SG plows. with the "paddle" style of plow wheel and blades.
The rotaries with the "scoop" style wheel like the D&RGW OO, OY, 070, C&S 99201, CM B, and a lot of SG plows can be done with some other parts.

Thanks for the info.

I picked up an Overland OM a year or so ago. ... as I’ve always wanted to do one (bought one of the Durango Press ones too a while ago).

I’m just in the initial phases of it right now, but hope to start it soon.

Have a mine I’m scratch building right now that I need to get done for a club contest.  Once that’s done..either the rotary or the varnish cars will be next.

Are you modeling OM or OY?

Remember that if you are doing OM, the brass Overland or the DP kit, they have the big tender that was assigned to it in 1962.  So not correct in red.  This tender is the ex Uintah 30's tender that became D&RGW W-499.  Much bigger than the tender OM had most of its life. When the Friends painted the OM red, the large 30 and the W-499 were plainly visible with the darker color.  Now that OY is red again, I hope OM will get painted back to correct gray in the future.

Rotaries are my addiction.

Would love to see pics when you get it completed.

Have you tried PSC themselves?  I ordered some parts a few weeks back, they had the, all I stock and they were here in the UK in a couple of weeks. My order included markers but not 31334.

[Edited Message Follows]

http://www.railwayeng.com/temp/Train-op/Train-op.zip

This is program I wrote for windows.  It is very simple
You enter 30 carspots and as many cars as you want in a single file.
The program shuffles the cars and the towns and assembles a train order list of
up to 30 cars with destinations.
If the car it picked is at a car spot it will tell you to go get it.
So your orders have cars to deliver as well as cars to return with.
Try it out if you wish.  We use it on my railroad and it is really easy to use.
The program will print out the order for you.  The train-op out put can be sent to
a smart phone and either use the printout or use your smart phone for your orders.
