If anyone is interested in details of paint, and is going to Tacoma for the NNGC, Andrew Brandon and I are presenting a clinic on railroad paint from 1870 to 1930 or so...

From a technical standpoint, Stephenson Valve Gear is superior to Walschearts gear. The big feature of Stephenson is the variable "lead" in the steam admission when the valve gear is "hooked up"

Toma Model Works from Japan makes a BEAUTIFUL 0-4-0 Porter. Although they are made in limited batches, so he may or may not have in stock at any given time.

Any manufacturers still making HOn3 locomotives
Hi All,
Quick question. Beside buying used from eBay or a couple of the online hobby stores, are there any manufacturers small or large manufacturing new HOn3 locomotives?
Thank you in advance
Eric

Wow really. Narrow Gauge convention in the home of the D&RGS?
If we could confirm the dates ahead of time, that would be a great life dream of mine to plan to visit.
Thanks Mike.

Yes, come to Denver next year if you can't make Tacoma this year. We're working to make it a great convention.
Get tickets well in advance and save $$$.

I would so love to attend. I've just checked out the website (and hotel website) and it seems so wonderfully organised. Unfortunately as it's the Labour Day weekend, a ticket from Singapore fo Seattle

Re: DRG #168 Major Assemblies
Good morning, are you planning to print valve gear? I purchased a HOn3 Gem EBT basket case that is missing it's southern valve gear. I would be very interested in a set if you make some up.
Thanks,
