WSM also did the NCNG #9 a 2-8-0 and SP #1 also a 2-8-0. WSM also did SP #8, #9 and #18 all 4-6-0's. PFM did SP #9 a 4-6-0. For an excellent review of these models check out the locodoc website Wayne Weiss.

I would tend to agree that we are more or less masturbating around on this topic.  No one is likely to be offering any new cheap HOn3.  If you want some sort of HOn3 2-6-0, keep checking Ebay and buy a Kidder/LMB Porter 2-6-0.  This is probably the least expensive.  The NWSL-FED/Spartan is unfortunately a tender drive.  The next up in price is the Lambert C&S 2-6-0.   There is a United C&S 2-6-0, but also tender drive.  If you are willing to have D&RGW, the WSM 268/278  2-8-0's can also go in the $200 range.  They have the motor in the cab, and are an excellent standard engine.  I think that this is a fair summary of what you can find in HOn3.  Can anyone think of other engines?(not #50's)
