Re: Low Cost HOn3?

I migrated from HO to HOn3 at age 16 in 1960. Bought a PFM C&S 2-6-0 #22 for $34.00. In the late 1960's and early 1970's C16, C19, C25, K28 for $50 to $85. Then I got a "high quality" PFM K27 for $370. When I look at inflation, these engines would be much more expensive today. The K27 was/is my last brass loco. I have a MDC 2-8-0 kit from 1979. It's on the bench, a work in progress, but it's been months since I worked on it. Not a high priority.
