What Would You Do?

On eBay there is a brass steam loco that looks like it was delivered by UPS.
It has been crushed, is missing key parts like pilot, cylinders and probably cannot be
restored at a reasonable cost.  The model appears to be a NWSL/Toby
Rayonier #8 2-6-6-2T, first run.  It's listed as for parts or repair.

If you already have several NWSL/Toby 2-6-6-2 logging mallets, this could
be an excellent source of spare running gear parts, especially drivers,
side rods, valve gear, etc...  Not many other parts appear to be useful,
just domes, pilot and trailing wheels and smokebox front.  A skilled sheetmetal
craftsmen might be able to restore the cab and fuel bunker.

So what would you do if this was your model?
-sell it 'as is' like the eBay ad
-sell off the running gear separate from the superstructure
-piece out running gear parts separately, drivers, cylinders
valve gear, side rods, frames and drive train to sell separately
  -punt
