Maricopa County Emergency Communications Group official chat group.

This group is designed specifically to discuss and promote training and public service events in the state of Arizona, all leading to the development of a pool of Ham Radio operators trained to provide communications during disasters and public service events.

We are not affiliated with any club or organization, but work closely with several. Most of the events listed here can be found at www.MCECG.net, where you can sign up to participate.

We also offer 1-2 classes annually to train Ham Radio operators. Dates will be announced when class dates have been determined.

We encourage any group, club or organization to post club meetings and event announcements on our calendar and in messages.

This is not a group for chatting. Messages determined to be off-topic will not be approved, so please keep your message on-topic.
