Adding photos to a message

Karin Beil

I have a message I need to edit to add photos for a tutorial. The "add pictures" icon is not available. I see the icon when I start a new topic, but not when I edit an existing message. What am I missing?

Thank you!

IIRC you cannot add images when editing a message, only delete them.

Why not just make up and store your tutorial as a "File" and just include a link in the messages to thetutorial in the "Files" section. That will use up a lot less storage space too.

It's possible to add images, but you have to edit the source code to do it.  Not something most people want to jump into.

The Groups.io Help Center includes the Owners Manual and Members Manual.
They can be browsed online or downloaded as PDF files.

I am totally blind, so this thread is interesting to me.

As a sighted person, can't you just paste photos in a message like you can paste text? I see no reason why not.

Oh yeah, forgot about that easter-egg/hack.  Hopefully it won't be taken away!
