Wiki Link Checking

The easiest way I know how to do this is by using the Link Analyzer in the Firefox web browser.

  1. If Link Analyzer is not already installed:
    1. Click on Tools in the Menu Bar
      1. You may have to right-click and select Menu Bar from the drop-down menu
    2. Click on Add-Ons
    3. In the "Find more extensions" field, type "Link Analyzer"
    4. Hit Enter
    5. Click the "+ Add to Firefox" button
      1. A Permissions pop-up appears, click "Add"
    6. Another pop-up appears with a checkbox "Allow this extension to run in Private Windows"
      1. Your choice
    7. Click "Okay, Got It"
    8. Extension is now installed
  2. Open the wikipage you want to check
  3. Right-click on the page
    1. A drop-down menu appears
  4. Click on "Analyze all links"
    1. All links will be analyzed, those that are good are highlighted green. Bad links are highlighted red.

The official user documentation is in the Help Center.
