WE HAVE AN OWNER and a new problem...

Don’t know how, but I did setup one other person in our group with owner rights.  He is the president of the group and ok with using his personal email for his groups.io account.  Also, I figured out that CSSatSGG@groups.io was bouncing. Not sure why - but Bruce was on a role when he said to look out for the ‘at’. Apparently, somewhere I had created CSSofSGG@groups.io.  I found it in the URL notices email. There should only be one: CSSatSGG@groups.io.

However, now I have a new problem.  Please see attached.    And, now I have 2 io groups with the same name? I am confused and not sure if this is fixed or not.   I guess I have to delete one of them? I tried to unbound - but it didn’t send an email.

It says a message has been sent - but I didn’t receive one - tried it twice!

THANK YOU.
Pat

Thanks for providing this. It shows that:
  1. You are logged in, as CSGatSGG@...
  2.  CSGatSGG@... does not own the group, or the page would display a baby-blue Owner badge on the Home button.

Hmmm...the groups.io editor is taking the "at" string in the middle of CSGatSGG and keeps trying to insert an @ sign there. Be on the lookout for that.

Regarding Merging into another account - I did not willingly do that as well.
The notification email you provided says nothing about a merge. But that's all it is...a notification\.

Again, here is the message tell me it was successful - and all I had to do was confirm…which I thought I did.
Go to your CGSatSGG address and look for a different, email change confirmation message there (it could be in your spam folder). You must reply to this email to confirm the change. If you didn't, that would explain the problem...your old email address mpsalinas59 still owns the group.

Try logging in one last time as mpsalinas59@... and then send us another screenshot of your home page.

Fingers crossed,
Bruce

If you look closer at the line highlighted, which should be the one the notice was sent to, you'll see it's for GSGatSGG@... (with a G at the front instead of a C.)  If you click on that row, anyplace other than the check box, it will open the member record.  Now click on the Email Delivery History button at the top.  You'll probably see that it's bouncing because there is no such email address at gmail.  Just use the Remove button at the bottom of the member record (you'll have to back to it.)  About all you can do about all of this is pay closer attention when typing things in before you click OK/next/confirm/whatever.
