Sending to MyGroupNameHere+subscribe@groups.io is not subscribing as of today.  But was working fine a few days ago.  I have tested from various accounts.

Subscribe does still work via the web form

https://groups.io/g/ MyGroupNameHere/join

Anyone else having this error?

Is the email address you're sending from already subscribed to the group?

If so, nothing will happen...not even an error message.

Nope. I have found subscribe from /join working where the same address failed to subscribe via email.  I tested different emails and two different groups.

Just out of curiosity as I have never used the email subscribing on groups.io

I just did a test on one of my groups with an unused email address

It worked flawlessly and in seconds

UPDATE: It seems the problem was the subscriber's "Confirm Your Groups.io Subscription" email going to spam folder.
