When I log in I see no opportunity to select messages or new topic??? I am group owner. I just created 2 subgroups so could I have done something that would influence this problem?

I recently ran into the same issue where a regular member did 5 or 6 edits on his post before getting it right. Everyone whose Email Delivery setting was Individual Messages got emailed all his change

You probably did, and I believe you insofar as you didn't intend to do it. :) It looks very much like a Sticky Wiki; did you create a wiki that looks like that and perhaps make it "sticky" by accident
