I have tried with exe, zip and pdf files. Sizes range from about 2 to 9 MB. For the present time I have stored new files on Google Drive and using a link from Groups.io / Files which is working.

Ron, Correct, no physical file can be edited in place, you have to first save the file locally, edit it as needed, then as Frances said, use Update to update the Files copy. Cheers, Christos
