Major changes for new Basic groups
Speaking as a software engineer myself, I would make the following points: 1) This would be a lot of work. 2) This would greatly increase the code complexity and the number of special cases involved.

Ditto, I don't understand, either. My groups are 100% email messaging. If it weren't for file uploads, none of them would ever even look at the website. I've had zero complaints about the availability
