Yes, an important distinction between "directory" and members list.
The Admin, Members, is a complete list. Viewable by owner and those moderators with the proper permission.

He tried refreshing the member list – still receives an error when he clicks on the “View Member List” in an email to add a new member. I may try adding another moderator and see what happens

I had a similar problem until I remembered that I couldn't just go to thelist, I first had to click on Admin and go to the list from there. Not everyone (at least in our group) wants their info

Rootsweb on my list

Hi folks, some member subscribed herself as the name of my rootsweb list. So everything was cross posting. On the rootsweb side it went into moderation as my groups.io list is not a member of that

Moderation works well, I think, on Groups.io
If a moderator clicks to edit a post that needs moderation, a tag shows on it "claimed by joe blow".

That depends on what you mean by email information". Check that the address from which your member is sending is the one that is registered with your group/Groups.io.

I missed a point in my earlier post; if the person is sending from an address that is not listed it should still show up on the Activity Log as "non - member xxx tried to post" or words to that
