The Activity Log (as the name suggests) records details of lots of different activities on your group. If you are finding out about these types of features then I recommend that you also read the Getting Started guide and in particular the section about making use of the Activity Log 

Jason; as a new owner, and new to Groups.io, you are going to have to spend some time studying and learning about the web UI in some detail. It won't all sink in first time round but you must develop an understanding about how things are set up and work.
