Janice -- I can see why you would find this perplexing. The only thing I can think of that would cause the symptoms you describe is that she is subscribed to your group under a different email address, with the address set up as a posting alias. 

Have her try to log in under one of her other email addresses. If she's successful, she should be able to find her alias in the "Advanced Settings for Email Aliases" block at If the address is indeed present as an alias and she deletes it, you should then be able to subscribe that address to your group.

Unfortunately, as a group Owner you cannot look this up for her.
