Another thing, It appears that some of the cars were painted all green and some had green sides with black ends. Does anyone know why? Or have a roster as to which ones were painted how?

According to everything that I have, the G&F's PS-1 boxcars were built/delivered in September 1959. However, I just stumbled across some O scale decals that were printed for these cars in 1957 but show the build date as being July 1956. Was this an indication that maybe the G&F was trying to obtain these cars in this time frame versus the delivery date in 1959?
