Mike Moody is a Silent Key
Wow. Such a shock to lose Mike so soon. Enjoyed the GPSL he hosted and will miss him at future balloon events. My thoughts are with Mike's family and friends. Mark KA9SZX

Lynqme?
Joe: I did a search on the device and couldn't find what frequencies it uses. Will have to go into the FCC site and search for it there. Three miles is probably tops line of sight to the other device.

Lynqme?
Interesting device. Might be worth the experiment if it does not shut down if it gets above say 60 K like some other GPS devices. It would also be interesting to know its frequencies of operation and

Mike: When you send it out on YouTube Live will you be monitoring the chat that YouTube provides? I am sure there will be questions posted. If there is WiFi in the lab and attendees have access to it,

I registered today as I had planned to after Hamvention. Will be returning the WB0URW-5 along with the balloon. I did separate the Skytracker from the balloon to confirm its operation, beaconing away
